A Midlands-based charity providing therapeutic support for
children and young people who have suffered any form of trauma
KidsAid is an exciting new charity working to help children who have suffered from traumatic events, ranging from illness and peer pressure through to family bereavements, domestic violence and abuse.
Early intervention to support children brings real benefits to their young lives and will help to ensure these traumas will not manifest in later life, causing them serious problems in the future.
KidsAid works with schools, local authorities and other voluntary bodies to support vulnerable children
and their families.
The KidsAid therapists are all experienced in their field and trained to deal with children and families
with a whole range of problems from all backgrounds.
Children can be referred to KidsAid by their GP, their school or another agency, or by parents or even by self-referral.
The therapists are supported by a dedicated Board of Trustees with a rich variety of professional backgrounds and skills.
